As a young girl I attended San Ysidro Academy, now known as Mount Carmel. I continued my education at Our Lady of Peace High School and from there on I went to Southwestern College for a couple of years.
Over the course of the years, I worked for over 12 years was Great American Bank starting as a bank teller and moving up to Personal Banker. As a personal banker, I was in charge of bringing in new money and new clients. In 1984 and 1985 I was selected as the personal banker of the year.
In 1985, I made my first move to San Diego County Credit Union. Working in the new accounts and real estate loan department for over 12 years.
Looking to enhance my career and become self sufficient. I began taking courses to become a tax preparer. A challenging career began to emerge (originate). I have been a tax preparer for over 13 years. I am CTEC approved
I am also a notary public since 1998. Notarizing loan documents for various companies and regular people here in my office or at their homes.
My newest venture is Feng Shui. This has been a very incredible journey. A very rewarding intense course taught by Karen Rauch Carter. Studying for about six moth, preparing homework, visiting people and interview them and then getting results. I also is very rewarding since I have seen improvements in their lives.
I have done various home with wonderful success. My first one, Mary had moved in her home for over a year. She did not have any pictures on her walls. Her garage was full of furniture that her daughter asked her to store. Her boyfriend was out of town and relationship was getting cold. This was my first practice consultation, we went through her house to get a feel for it. Looking into her bedroom, she had a TV, computer system, desk and a bed. She could not sleep well. looking into the room, it was discovered that she did not have any pictures of her and her boyfriend. I suggested she place pictures of them in the room. Move the computer to her garage where her family could work on it. Everyone was using the computer in her bedroom. And clean the garage.
She went ahead and placed pictures of her and her boyfriend around her bedroom and her boyfriend showed up unexpected. He said he had a feeling- to see her. She has been in the process of cleaning her garage to move her computer to the garage. Last time I looked, she looked radiant. Where she works all the customers also told her she looked very happy. She did not feel overwhelm as before, clearing out the garage has cleared her clutter mind.
You can make this process even easier by placing an object that represents the feeling that you wish to have in the relationship so that it is the first thing you see when you wake up in the morning and the first thing you see every time you walk in the room. Do this for 27 days, engaging in the 17 seconds of feeling or rolling in meditation on the desired feelings and watch what happens!
Remember, when you align your thoughts and feelings with your intentions and those intentions are then reflected, supported and reinforced by your environment then sky's the limit in terms of what you can manifest in your life! With Feng Shui big things can happen with just little changes! How cool is that!
The bedroom is a sacred place. So our goal is to eliminate items that completely shift the intention of the bedroom and in turn indicate internal discord. So let's take a moment and answer a couple of quick questions. Do you feel like you're married to your work? You probably have a desk and/or computer in your bedroom! Do you feel like your relationship is a workout? That could show up by keeping a treadmill and/or exercise bike in your bedroom. Also, take a moment and look around at the artwork in your bedroom. Is there a "work" theme going on? People in the process of climbing up mountains or working in fields, animals carry loads and/or pulling items? Remember in Feng Shui our homes are a reflection of our life!
The ideal solution is to remove non-bedroom items from the bedroom such as televisions, computers, exercise equipment, and desks. What? Televisions! Yep, although I realize that may not fly with everyone please just make it a point to not have your TV be the STAR of your bedroom. That's your job! When this is not possible, screen off or enclose the items in a bureau, so that they are hidden, when it comes time to sleep or cuddle.
The goal here is to remember that bedrooms are for sleeping and intimacy. Anything that is in the bedroom that is not supportive of such, is counter to the purpose of the bedroom. So let's take a good look around and see what we can do to create the SPACE for your new LOVE!

In Feng Shui placing the bed in the "command position” is considered the most safe and empowering position for your bed. The "command position" is usually farthest from and facing the door, with one’s back and/or in the case of bed placement with the headboard placed against a solid wall. This position is considered the safest and most powerful, providing the widest view of the room with the ability to see the door without being directly in line with the door. If you are able to position your bed in this way you will not only sleep better, but you’ll create a secure position in your life for a relationship.
In Feng Shui the part of the bed that most effects relationships is the headboard. The more solid the headboard is, the better. A solid headboard represents a solid foundation. If there is no headboard, place the bed against a solid wall and let that become the headboard. And even if you have a headboard, having it against a solid wall adds even more stability.
When it comes to manifesting a GREAT love relationship there are some key things to try to avoid with your bed:
1. If possible avoid having the head of the bed against a window as this literally allows the energy to slip right out, and along with it, potentially, your partner. If this is the only location that you can position your bed, no worries, there are cures that you can use to mitigate this situation. Just take red tape, string, yarn, etc. and place a line of it across the interior of the window or above the window frame (this can be hidden from view) to symbolically stop the flow of chi or energy from going out the window.
2. If possible avoid having the bed located in a corner so that it creates a triangle above the headboard, as this has the potential to create a literal “love-triangle” in your relationship.
3. If possible avoid having one side of the bed flush against the wall as this limits access to relationships. It is better to have it even just 4-6 inches between the bed and the wall rather than flush against it.
Here's one final hip tip regarding the bed, please be mindful of the number of pillows that you have on your bed. The standard is 2 pillows per person, period. The idea here is to ensure that you have the "space" available for your new partner to join you.

It's hip tip time and I've got a really creative and fun tip to share courtesy of my brilliant Feng Shui teacher, Karen Rauch Carter.
If you'd like your clients and/or employer to think you are super capable and can do anything, take a picture or poster of your favorite super hero, paste your photo over their face, and put your company name and/or logo on your chest or somewhere near your super hero and/or heroine.
Next, place your new masterpiece in your fame and reputation gua (middle back of house and/or any room) and see what happens.
Remember, your super hero and/or heroine can be hidden from sight and still be just as effective. Just be sure to locate it in your fame and reputation gua.
Below is the picture that I created of me as "Wonder Woman." Woo Hoo! I have this hidden behind a mirror in the fame and reputation area of my living room and on full display in my office. It always makes me smile each time I see it and really gives me just a bit more confidence in my abilities as a feng shui consultant and stager.
Feng shui really is all about creativity and fun! Yay!
